Aftonbladet 2006-10-23
Frösö Zoo Familypark, Östersund, Sweden
An unique Pugmy Marmoset albino baby is borned at the Frösö Zoo Familypark in Sweden. For two months ago two albinotwins
were borned. They both died within 42 hours.
Their parents are still alive and we hope that the future will bring us new albinotwins.
The little fellow who still ain't got a name, was smaller than a coin when it was born. Now it is 15 days old and
3 centimetres tall.
- We have had a low profile about this baby, but now we can say that it will live, says the owner of the familypark
Åke Netterström.
For two months ago the first albinotwins in the world was born at the familypark. The whole world had their eyes on this
sensation. Unfortunally they did not survive.
- Then the same thing happens again, at the same place!
We don't know if it's male or a female. We are just so happy right now and we do not want to disturbe the little baby.
